Hall 3 Pathway to Net Zero Talks
A Sustainable Path to a Net Zero Mobility Community
The automotive sector is undergoing a profound and increasingly rapid transformation, absorbing inputs from a wide range of nascent technologies from Artificial Intelligence to simulation and automation. The necessity to both innovate and enable innovation to flourish is the key to the UK being a leading destination for Net Zero Mobility research, development, and manufacturing.
In recent years, an internationally significant cluster of automotive disruptors have taken up residence in the Midlands alongside the region’s seasoned vehicle manufacturers. Developing alternative propulsion systems, electrified skateboard chassis that can adapt to multiple vehicle form factors and micro-manufacturing techniques, these new and established companies are maintaining the territory’s strong automotive heritage and reputation for transport innovation.
This session will explore the many opportunities that this rise in next-generation mobility companies is providing and how everyone must come together to seize the opportunity of this immensely important moment in time for Net Zero mobility.
