Meeting net zero targets

John Carden is a chartered energy engineer who has worked in the field of energy and emissions management for 30 years, 25 as an independent.

He is currently advising on the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme, Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting and the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme, all government schemes aimed at meeting UK emissions targets.

He has provided consultancy services to many large organisations, so understands the energy sector and how it relates to organisations that are aiming for Net Zero.

There has never been a more exciting time in the sector and by adopting a well thought out decarbonisation plan, organisations can both reduce costs and demonstrate their environmental credentials.

This will make the company more attractive to both potential staff and customers.
