Hall 3 Pathway to Net Zero Talks

Decarbonising Truro High School for Girls – Bitesize

Truro High School is a secondary school for girls in Cornwall which includes several buildings ranging from late Victorian through to the 1990s.  The school is grappling with the challenge of ageing assets, capital constraints providing best in class services to its pupils whilst aiming to achieve net zero operations. The school has embarked on a journey with Zerogram to establish a long-term net-zero operational strategy for the school whilst identifying opportunities to deliver immediate cost savings to mitigate the impact of rising energy prices. The session is jointly presented by the school and Zerogram and will cover how this potentially overwhelming challenge was broken down into bitesize chunks to help the school tackle the problems in practical, actionable steps.
