Tom Woolley
Tom has spent over 6 years working on the technical performance and roll out of Smart Meters in the UK. This involves a strong focus on these assets maintaining smart performance- ensuring the reliability of smart meter data and consumer experience- and then utilising the connected smart meter system as an ecosystem for innovation. He has developed several new products and services that uses the Smart Meter Ecosystem and its data. Tom led the acquisition of n3rgy data in 2022, a platform that enables consented access to smart meter data, agnostic of energy suppliers. This has enabled digital energy to become accessible by industries outside of the energy market. A core focus now for Tom is developing platforms and a marketplace for further innovation, using digital energy.
